This past weekend, our talented dancers from Step by Step Academy of Dance took part in the Supreme Dance Competition at the Bay Theatre in Weymouth. It was an exciting milestone for our students, as this was their very first time competing! The anticipation and energy leading up to the event were incredible, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they performed on stage.
A Weekend of Firsts
For many of our students, this Supreme Dance Competition marked their first taste of the competitive dance world. From the early morning preparations to the final bow on stage, the experience was filled with excitement, nerves, and unforgettable moments. The girls showed incredible determination and enthusiasm, giving it their all with every performance.

A huge well done to everyone who competed! Whether it was your first time on the competition stage or you’re a seasoned performer, your hard work and dedication truly shined. We can’t wait for the next competition and to see how far you all go!
Each dancer pushed themselves outside of their comfort zone, built confidence, and showcased their passion for dance in front of an audience. The feedback from the judges was incredibly encouraging, and we know this is just the beginning of their journey in the competitive dance world.
Seeing their dedication and teamwork in action was a true highlight of the weekend. The support they showed for one another both on and off stage was inspiring, proving that dance is not just about the performance but also about the friendships and growth that come with it.
